3 yrs anniversary

Today is the 3rd anniversary of my mother's friend death..

She died of cancer, he was extremely close to her, and not a day goes by where he wanna kill himself because he miss her and he thinks that thats the only way to see her and be with her again..

That guy isnt my boyfriend, but we are as close as if we were together..

And I never had to deal with such things..
What should I do?
Like, what do I say to him?

I dont know yet how its gonna be but i sure as hell its gonna be a hard day..

Thanks for your help and advice

Why don't you go to her grave with him and encourage him to talk about the good times the both of them had together? It may help with a certain closure to his grief. I know when my friends mother died it hit her so bad she wanted to die herself, but I chose to encourage her to carry on as her mother would have wanted instead of drowning herself in grief.

Good luck. It IS difficult for both parties.
