creatine?

Ok, I recently heard from someone that creatine is of great help for lifting. So I'm interested now, but first I'd like to know if there could be any harmful side effects or something. Anybody got some info on creatine and lifting?

It'll mostly improve your endurance under the weights.

You start with a "loading phase" to get as much of the substance as possible into your muscles (20g a day, 4-6 days) and then cut back (4-6g a day)

The most popular form is CEE (creatine-ethyl ester) among bodybuilders.
There have been (few and unreliable) reports of aggression and teeth turning brown.

Thank all of you. But now I have another question: Which is more recommended (or are they all the same?): creatine-ethyl-ester or creatine monohydrate?

Put it this way... Creatine is used to pump your muscles basically with "water"
that's why your muscles look bigger, and if you stop using it you wont look as good.. on top of that.. your heart is a muscle as well.. I would never use creatine..

Yeah I don't particularly care much about the how I look part at this point, but I sure as heck wanna be able to recover faster between sets so I won't whimp out and have to lift less weight after the first couple of sets, thus becoming stronger faster, cause I'm making such slow progress as of now... So unless there's another way, I think I'll give creatine a shot. And I have never read about anyone saying it's dangerous for the heart, although I do know the heart is another muscle, so I dunno... Anyone else got any other suggestions then?

Duno if this help but i used it when i was younger, and now i think it was the reason behind the acid-reflux i have now....could be wrong but i was fine until i started taking that junk..and everyone is right, it makes you burn less and be able to do more sets, and look bigger to some degree but the min you stop taking it your shrink up..so whats the point....
