Sharp pains inside me, and other stuff - for girls

Ok I have this weird problem...for a few days I've been having these really sharp pains inside my vagina ALOT like tens or hundreds of times day. They hurt but only for a second or so, does anyone know what they could be?

Also once after I masturbated I actuall bled...kinda scared me

Any ideas on what those could be please?

My answer is you should go to a doctor, because sharp pains can indicate something that we cannot diagnose you with over the internet. It may be infection, a STI, bruised cervix, muscle spasms, scratched vaginal walls (from fingernails, etc)....or any other matter of things. I would be very concerned with infection or things like Pelvic Inflammatory Disease...so go to the doctor.

It sounds like muscle contractions or a possible infection. You should really talk to your doctor about it. Sometimes it seems like an embarassing hassle to do so- but it's important that you be proactive about your health. Whatever it is, you don't want it to get worse, so you really should talk to your doctor ASAP.

For both men and women, any kind of symptoms below the belt should be taken very seriously. By ignoring symptoms, waiting for them to go away on their own, or avoiding medical attention you put your sexual health and fertility at great risk.

Be sure to see a doctor about this,

BellaDonna

Please see a doctor ASAP:

Here's some info for you:
Quote:
Pain in the vaginal canal, also called vulvodynia, which literally means “pain in the vagina,” is usually experienced during vaginal manipulation, such as a pelvic exam, or sexual intercourse. Fifty to 85 percent of the causes appear to be due to organic, or medical, conditions.

I agree with the other posts and feel that you should see a doctor as soon as you can. There are numerous possiblities as to what the source of your pain could possibly be. Get checked !

Traveler- I had the same pains. luckily they went away after a few months. I saw a doc, had blood tests and things done, and they were all negative. when do you get these pains? do you have sex? if so, how often? these can help point to an answer. With me, turned out that I had a leftover yeast infection and I'm small down there, which during sex with my larger bf caused some disturbance, basically pissing off my vagina and cervix.
