Life, Death, and Love
These are the only things that matter in the end. I think people who have experienced these things will agree they are by far the most profound.
Like others have said, one really doesn't have expectations to live up to... most of them are just illusions. Maybe this view would help to liberate some who are at the end of their tethers.

Yes, love is a glorious feeling but so is hate. Both can make you powerful.
Life and death may not matter all that much if in fact this is only one phase of many in our life. This life is temporary regardless. Death may be an exit from this reality and also an entrance to our next existance. Who knows....

"death worrys me not for when I am present it is not, and when it is present I am not" the same can not be said for love and hate as humans we can be duplicitus in the area. |

i think the problem with a lot of people is that they don't realize that self-love is more important than romantic love.

Yeah, love and hate are both very powerful. It feels to me though like love can overcome hate because as where hate is directed at a sort of void, love hits something solid.
I think self-love is equal in importance to romantic love, though judging by the number of older members that agree with bent, that sentiment might change over time.
