Ok, I posted this before, but I wanted to see if there was any new input.
So my boyfriend has/had OCD and went into recovery for it, they sent him home now, because he has it under control. I was wondering if anyone has known anyone that has got it under control? I'd like to know how it turned out, or about relapse. I just want to know what to expect from someone who has had it but it now "under control". thanx!! |

He HAD where he couldn't touch anything without gloves, everything in his mind was "contaminated" and he'd get horrible anxiety attacks. But now he never wears gloves.

Yes, it's possible to get it under control, some more some less.
The more he wants to get over it, the better. It would be good if you talk to his therapists to learn more and to get specific advice. ![]() He needs encouragement too, also don't tease him about it. |
