Quick Question Bout The Pill...
My Girlfriend and I have only had sex once. This past month she started the pill so she is due for her period. She was supposed to get it last night, however, 1 night later (today) she still hasn't gotten it...
Do I have any reason to worry she may be pregnant? We stopped not even halfway through because we didn't have a condom and I did not ejaculate in her or on her. But who knows, I just want to know if this is ok? |

Stress from worrying can cause her period to be late! When I started taking the pill I was late a few days. Her body needs to adjust to it.
Keep her occupied so that she stops worrying and I'm sure in a few days her period will appear. |

Is it possible she is pregnant? Yes, but unlikely. A day late is not uncommon at all, from what I know. And I bet that occurs often when things change, like when she begins to have sex and go on the pill.
right now, take it easy and keep her mind off of it. And it should come. If nothing changes by the weekend, get a test and have her take it, when you are there. |

Especially for the first cycle, your period most likely will be late. I have been on Trinessa for over two years, and I still don't get my period for two to three days after my first placebo pill. As Beec said, pregnancy is always a possibility, but it's nothing to worry about.

Just because she was supposed to start her period yesterday, doesn't necessarily mean she will. I'm on the pill myself, and it usually comes about 2 days after i've stopped taking it. There is the SMALL possibility that she might be pregnant, but i wouldn't be to worried. Give it a day or 2. I'm sure you haven't got to much to worry about.

Well, if she started the pill, her period will change too. It won't come when it used to, and it does not start as soon as she starts her sugar pills (which is why I assume you said she was supposed to start last night - she started her sugar pills, but her "period" won't come until the hormones balance out in her system which takes days after that). It's common also to miss periods altogether since you are not really even ovulating or menstruating when you are on pill, just having a false period.
Yes, with the pill there is ALWAYS a chance of pregnancy (1-5%) and it's higher in first month of starting it usually (they recommend using condoms first month at least) but it is minimal, and she is not actually "late" yet.
