Infected!

Alright,I went to the doctor and he asked me to get my urine and blood tested.Well it was nothing new for me because i have had to do this once in the past. And shockingly,The results were the same like da ones i had seen 3 months ago.

Now the infection i have got is inside my penis. There are these puss cells which keep on multiplying.I am sure this is a common problem cuz thats wat the doctor said. The doctor says its because of having oral sex.Now i cannot understand this one bit.How can oral sex cause an infection???is it possible??

There is only one symptom for this infection. When u are urinating,it burns and the burning sensation is so much that it could bring tears to ur eyes.

I am so confused.Y has the infection come back.Is the doctor rite about the oral sex part?.OR is it something else?.Cuz i still cant understand this,What difference does it make if i make my gf gimme a blow job or i do it my self?..ITs the same thing!!!!!

hey, i'm a community health worker, yo, your doctor should explain this to you. probably the infection you have is gonorrhea, and the only way you can get rid of it is to have your girlfriend treated too. chlamydia and gonorrhea are two TREATABLE infections that you two could be passing back and forth if you both aren't getting treated at the same time and abstaining from any sexual contact (including oral sex) til you've been treated.
both chlamydia and gonorrhea can infect the throat (then how she gives it to you, or back to you, however it worked out) but gonorrhea is more common in the throat.
definitely your gf should be treated, it can cause serious problems in women, namely pelvic inflammatory disorder, which leads to sterility.

Hey!

Hi Venus.

Thats exactly what the doctor told me.He told me not to have any sexual contact till the infection is cured.

This seems to be interesting.Well the last time i got this infection,The doctor had given me the same advice.Well we have stopped giving oral to each other ever since. So there is no possibilty of getting the infection from her.

She only uses her hands to finsih off the job.We r not using our mouth in any way!!

So how the hell did i get the infection again!.Does it keep on coming back or there are other reasons for this.

After reading ur post,I have found another missing piece in the puzzle,But the puzzle is still to be completed!!!

ps-The name of the test conducted was culture and sensitivity. And the puss cells found are 25-30,The doctor said this is a very high number and under normal conditions, its supposed to be 0-1.

Any oraface you have sex with could lead to another potential outbreak. Basicly the only thing you or your gf can use at any time are your hands. Not just durring the "finishing off" phase either, as you put it.

I'm glad you went to the doctors, amano.
I remember some time ago you had a thread about your problems.

Listen to the doctor, and don't have any sexual contact while you are infected.
You may want to get your girlfriend tested, too.

definately cut off ALL sexual activity until the infection clears up. She can get the bacteria on her hands and transfer it to herself.

And like venus said, for women, there are some serious consequences. You are lucky to feel symptoms. There are many people who don't feel any symptoms at all, and don't find out that they have an infection until they find out they can't have a baby.

No one's mentioned the obvious, so I will.

Are you taking your medication exactly as prescribed? If you are being given an antibiotic or an antifungal, you need to take ALL of it as prescribed and not just stop taking it when you start to feel better.

Stopping medications before you take a full course of them can cause the infection to come back.

Well, if your girlfriend did it - she could become infected...

you can't get infected from a handjob, but a blow job yes. is she being treated too? cause if she still has it in her throat or in her vagina, there you go.
