I'm not prone to acne- but if I see something on my face- I'll put this product "ZapZit" on it before I go to bed- and almost always the next morning- it's either no longer there or much smaller.
It's a 3 step process though- you have to make sure you're washing your face enough- and with the right type of cleanser. Then you want to moisturize it so it doesn't dry out too much causing your face to create more oils (ultimately: more acne) And you need a good product to spot-treat the acne if and when it does surface. My husband has more acne-prone skin than me. He uses Basis face wash, St. Ives Oil Free Moisturizer, and then that Zap Zit stuff. All are available in the drugstore and not too expensive. It works very well for him but everyone's skin is different. It might take some trial and error to find what works best for your skin. Your diet might also have something to do with acne. Certain foods aggravate it. See : [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] BellaDonna

Hey Shinobie, I can bad skin on and off for a long time which is partly how I ended up with body dismorphic disorder. I'm clear now though. If you want to be clear then go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and follow Dan's regimen using BP cream. You'll be totally clear in a few weeks.

Oxy10 and the like just never worked for me. I had annoying persistent acne and went to a dermatologist and got BenzaClin for $20 - good deal when you consider many acne things are $6-7 a pop and don't even work. That cream started working within a week and cleared up my skin flawlessly in two months.
I considered $20 to be more than cheap for something that actually worked. Save yourself the frustration of over the counter crap and buy one slightly more expensive product that works awesomely instead of tons of cheap sh!t that doesn't work. |

Got this cream, Benzac AC or something.. it was like $18 from the chemist, the girl said it was exactly like Proactive but cheaper. Its like, 5% Benzoyl Peroxide or soemthing like that. Anyway, that stuff is the goods!! LOL. I've been using it for ages and I can't even remember how bad my skin was before I started using it (I originally got it because i had a giant pimple on my nose that wasn't going away) but I dont get pimples anymore.. its great
