loss of gran / cancer && people smoking

okays .. so heres my thing...

gran died at age of 60.. cancer... i was.. 9? 10? around that age at the time.

lets just say it didnt really effect me at the time as i didnt understand.. but now... i think of the images in my head... and it makes me cry.. it makes me cry alot.
she was the best person in my life.. and why was SHE the one that got taken away from me..

but now... whenever i see people that i care about smoking.. all i can see if my gran.. in the hospital... the week she died.
it cuts me up... i really cannot bear it.

my current g/f.. smokes a bit.. not often... shes getting better.. since she met me apparently... also with the drinking etc..

smokes more when drunk. i was asked by her last week.. if i minded if she had a smoke... i said i did.. she did it anyway.. then agen that nite.
i was also a bit drunk, but i spent the entire rest of the night, sat staring at a bottle of fanta.... with the image of my gran in my head.. just... it was my g/f in the hospital... looking just like my gran did...

the thought of her ending up like that... its aweful... and had me in tears earlier on.

what do i do??? i just dont know what to do....
*curls up in a ball*
i HATE seeing people i care about smoking.. all i can see is my gran.
i dont want anyone to end up like that... and the thought of the love of my life ending up that way... its just terrible.

someone help me... please???

We can express the way we feel about it to them, but thats all we can do.
If it bothers you so much and she still does it, then offer to get her the stuff to stop, the patch or gum what ever. I quite smoking for a B/F in the past. its not that hard.

I hope it all works out for ya. hope that was some kinda help.
