Menopause info needed.

Does anyone know anything about the stages and symptoms of the Menopause? I'm the eldest female in our family!

I am sure if you Google there is lots of information.

I know hot flashes, out-of-whack periods (either missing, irregular, etc) mood swings, lack of lubrication/vaginal dryness are some of the symptoms though from having seen relatives go through it.

Is your mom alive? You can ask her what it was like for her..often we follow the pattern of our mothers in when we will start it, and how we will be affected.

My Mother died in 2000! All I can remember of her symptoms is that she was very bad tempered and that's one symptom I haven't got. I don't have any aunts on either side of the family because both parents were the only child.
