sexual health problem....
I didnt really know where to put this because its more sexual health than what people normally talk about on here, but i figured that it was about health so here it goes...
Well i have quite a problem to say the least! Im in a perfect relationship with a boy that i 100% love and trust and im very very happy with him. We enjoy a healthy love life too which i love but thats what i have been getting a few problems with. I went months of having pain-free amazing sex but all of a sudden its just got SO SO painfull. It hurts so much before and after sex (but not during! I have to say, even though i am 15, its not because im not 'ready' or im too young down there, because that has never been a problem before!? Its also not beacuse of lack of lube... I have also gone without any kind of sex and it doesnt help! Could this be an STI? im terrified!! but if i had one then surely my boyfriend would show signs too...?! and otherwise there arnt any ovious symptoms! Has anyone had the same problem? What is it? I am thinking of going to a clinc or something beacuse its SO painfull! Big thank you! XX

Yes, that could be any # of STI's. I hope you're having safe sex. Go see a doctor about it ASAP.

Yes it could definately be an STD. The symptoms may not necessarily show up with your b/f. Herpes for one is an STD which some people show no symtoms for and many people do not even know they have. As the other posters have said, see a doctor immediately.

Sex should not be painful after the first couple of times. If it was alright and now it is not, then you need to see a doctor right away. You could have a UTI (urinary tract infection) or it could also be an STD. Get to the clinic and get yourself checked out.

See your gynecologist/doctor ASAP.
It may be an STI (though many are symptom free, pain in pelvic region is a good signifier of something). You should be going at least once a year for pelvic exams ANYWAY if you are sexually active (very importantas things like HPV/STI testing, pap smears should be done regularly). It could also be PID (pelvic inflammatory disease), a UTI or any other of the gamut of infections possible. Only a doctor can narrow it down. And see a doctor regularly...EVERY woman who is sexually active should be getting paps regularly, and every woman over 16 active or not should be going as well.
