What is the reason for blisters..I am scared.
Okay I don't think I have a STD but I am not sure.
I this past weekend tried shaving my private area(friday). a few days later I have blisters saylike 4(and they don't hurt at all) on my lower abdomen going down towards my genitals but not on it or in it..can someone tell me if it could be some kind of alergic reaction to something I used whilst shaving(Like maybe something burned me) or what it is.Yes I have a new sexual partner but it has been at least a month since we have been together sexually(because of certain cerumstances)I read if it was a STD it would appear in 7-10 days after sexual contact with an infected partner. Please help. Thanks

Probably ingrown hairs. Apply warm compresses to them, and you might want to try opening them up with tweezers (sterilize them with heat first/boiling and cooling them). Add some polysporin etc to them and should help clear them up.
In future shave with hair growth, not against it, to prevent ingrown hairs - some people are more prone to them than others is all.

Hey Kleopatra,
The only STD that could have these kind of symptoms also around the genital area would be herpes. The truth is, we cannot diagnose you here. Just go see your doctor, and get a STD test anyway. Certainly when you have a new partner! I have this 'rule': I only have unprotected sex (meaning no condom- I have a Mirena to avoid pregnancy) when both me and the partner are tested and came out negative on all. I think because you shaved, and because it's in fact quite far from the genital area, there is little chance this could be herpes. Get it checked out anyway, I assume this isn't the first time you shaved there, or did you do anything different than normal? Take care, Ilse.

Well acutally I looked at them better last night with a mirror they looked more like pimples and they were right where the hair was (???) or used to be.
this is my first relationship (I had not had noe for for about 10 years) I have not really shaved there in all that time..I had no need to. I told my friend and she did say I used wrong type of razor.(???)
