how do i lose weight in a healthy way?
hey my name is Stefanie and im onli 13 years old ever since i was lil i hav always been overweight so in the summer of 2003 i decided to lose the weight so i stopped eating aka became anorexic then in september of 2004 i was admited in to the hospital and gained the weight bak then wen i left the hospital i lost the weight again coz i got sick again then i decided to start eating again so then i did and then i gained more weight then i had to so now im at 115 pounds and i dont wanna stop eating again coz living dat way was lyk HELL!!!! so my mom put me in the gym CURVES and ive been goin there for a lil bit but the thing is im not sure if i should diet coz i dont wanna stop eating all the stuff i lyk and people say that i should just eat healthy and excersise and imnot sure if thats gonna work
so my plan is to lose 15-20 pounds in 2 months do u think dats possible becuase im used to excersisin everyday for 2 hours so do u think i will lose the weight in 2 months by eating healthy and excersisin????

first off how tall are you? I mean u must be a short if your overweight and ur only 115.. Im asking because im a 5'1 and Im a 135 and that is considered to be a moderately overweight.. so if your a 5'1 or even a 4'10 115 is fine..

How tall are you? That will help figure out your appropriate weight.
It also depends on you frame or bone structure. To find out your frame type: Place your thumb and index finger around your wrist. If your finger overlaps the thumb, your frame is a "Small Frame". If they touch, your frame is a "Medium Frame". If they do not touch, your frame is a "Large Frame". For example if you are 5 feet tall your weight could be normal from 107 lbs. for a small frame, 115 would be about normal for a medium frame and 123 lbs. for a large frame. Dieting can be harmful, and most often leads back to the weight gain. You most defineteley want to keep exercising. Lift some weights, muscle burns fat. The more muscle you have the faster your metabolism, and the more fat you body burns. Have you parents let you talk with a personal trainer. Do not worry, lifting weights will not make you look like a guy. You can actually tone your body and improve your physique. If you have a sweet tooth, avoid simple sugars such as candy and soda. Try eating an apple or pear. There are many reasons why this will help you. Eat about 5-6 small meals per day, it will speed up your metabolism, and this help burn off fat. It is hard to eat clean, being free of processed sugars, but your body will love you for it. After a while it becomes easy. it really depends how tall you are, i'm 95 pounds and 5'4, but i kno plenty of people that are 110-130 pounds, like my best friend i think she has the same problem as you, shes 5'2 and 115 pounds, no one thinks shes fat but its a self concious thing, but i don't know if it's the same for you. studies say for a 5'0 13 year old female, the avergae weight is 115 pounds.
