somethings holding her back

theres this girl that ive known for a long time, and we each know that we like each other, but she has said to a mutual friend of ours that something is holding her back from going out with me. the mutual friend wont tell me because its personal, and i respect that, i just dont know what it could be. i really want for us to be together, cuz we just get along soooo amazingly well and we're awesome for each other. and shes talked to me about it and basically just tells me that she doesnt know what to do. i just hope that shes not trying to choose between me and some other guy. does anyone have any suggestions?

What's holding her back is that either she doesn't want to hurt your feelings or she isn't interested because your too much of a friend to her. You should of made a move earlier

Coming from my own personal experience she is more than likely waiting for you to confirm you wanting to be with her by asking her to be with you. I know it sounds crazy but trust me sometimes it just takes the extra mile to make things right. Good Luck

i definitely know that its not just cuz im her friend, cuz she told my friend that she likes me. and i know that are mutual friend isnt lying cuz she wasnt really supposed to tell me anything.

and like we talked before about going out and she said that she doesnt know what to do. so its not like shes waiting on me or anything.
