This one girl

hi. So there is this girl who lives across from me in my dorm and is in one of my classes. We both know this.

However, I have only said like one thing to her, at the begnning of the year and just recently waved to her.

When she walks by me, she sometimes looks down smiling (no teeth) and some other times she walks by looking straight ahead. I can't say hi or wave to her if she does this

Should I approach her one day in class or is she avoiding me?

Why is she doing this? Thanks!

You sound like the shy type. I know where your coming from since I was also this type most of my life. Saying hi might get a response from her, but are you looking for a friend or relationship? Depending on the answer to that just saying hi might not be a good idea.

I would suggest reading some books on how to be more sociable and how to open up to strangers. I am still learning myself, but I no longer have a fear of strangers and can walk up to and start talking to anyone.

Is she attractive? Do you consider yourself attractive? Do you think you have a chance with her? If yes to all those questions then you need to get on the ball buddy times a wasting!!!

I do this all the time. It's not even that I like the person, it's just awkward in my opinion to walk by someone while staring at them and waiting for either you or the other person to say hi.
