Oh I remembered another idyosincricy lol......... We hang dry everything after we wash it !!! The only thing that goes into the dryer is towels and bed linens. But clothing, t-shirts, socks, underwear you name it, we hang dry it all. So it sits for 1-2 days until it dries and then we can fold and put away. So laundry is a 3 day event. Repeat process again for whites.
And dishes we hand wash and let sit to dry everything! I've lived here for 7 months and we've never once used the dishwasher
