Well, the larger weddings are, the more expensive. You could easily still have 100-150 people and "live it up" and have a great time. In fact, it may be easier to do so with a smaller party because you'll have more money to spend on the food/entertainment. And you'll have time to enjoy yourself/kick back instead of going around saying "hi" to 700 people or so.

I'd probably have around 100-150 than 700. I don't even know 700 people, probably never even met that many. Of course this is all speculation, but I'd assume I'd have a guestlist arounnd 200 or so. In my mom's case, her dad was a big executive so they had to invite a lot of these people. I obviously wasn't there (haven't not been conceived yet) but to me 700 seems excessive.
