Stay away from him don't let you pregnant emotions let you think you can make it work no matter what you do do not put his name on the birth certificate. I am going through so much garbage because of it. Just make it simple for you and your child.

It makes it easier to get child support if he has his dad's last name. My son has his father's last name. This has never caused me any problems at all. I have told my son he can take my last name if he wants to, but his dad's last name is shorter and he likes it. It doesn't matter to me.
