I know many women who had kids later in life and all was well. I got pregnant at 40 but that did not work out. My mother in law had both her kids at almost 40. My grandmother had my mom at 40 and my uncle at 42.

I am currently pregnant and 38. I conceived in three months after going off the Pill. I am in my third trimester and so far no problems, other than the usual discomfort when you start getting closer to the due date.
