  1. Not knowing what is going on in there life...I have a problem staying away from checking his myspace.
  2. My ex said the same thing, but we ended up married. THEN we ended up divorced not even a year later because he couldn't keep his thingy to himself and decided he NEVER wanted children. It is a HUGE red flag to me. Just watch for other signs!! Be careful because in my experience if someone thinks they will be a bad father there is probably a reason to WHY they think that.
  3. It sounds to me like she is not interested. The whole "lets keep in touch" thing is weird becuase if she liked you and planned to keep dating you then I would think she would have said something more like...I will talk to you later, see you later, can't wait until our next date...not "keep in touch"
  4. They say not to have sex 48 hours before an annual so I am thinking 4 days would be okay.
  5. Sorry to hear that your date won't chip in for the meal. Maybe try going somewhere very inexpensive for the next meal incase money is the issue for her or suggest doing something that does not involve money like the park and see how she reacts. I totally agree that she should have at least offered by this point!!
  6. That should be long enough for the goodbye kiss in public in my opinion. Why don't you just ask were the relationship is going?
  7. That is true...people do have different boundaries when you are just dating versus a relationship. Depends on how things are progressing I think.
  8. Work is a BIG NO NO...other than that I would think there is no reason to not give a goodbye kiss unless they are hiding something.
  9. Work is NOT the place to be showing affection ESPECIALLY if you work together!! Big NO NO!
  10. Why is that shady? I still don't get it? Maybe I am just dense. Are you saying that it sounds like the reason I would be asking him out again is because he paid for dinner?
  11. I don't think there is anything shady about it. The statement lets the guy know that 1) you are interesting in seeing him again 2) that you don't expect him to pay for you meal all the time nor do you want him to have that burden. It just says it in a better way than coming out and stating that in plain english.
  12. I like sneaking the line in if he insists on paying and I like him!! Gives him the go ahead to pursue things with me but doesn't say too much!! I love it!!!
  13. Batya - thank you so much. I would have never thought to be weary of a guy that says that. It makes sense though becuase he has never even met me and he is already saying that he doesn't want someone that is needy/clingy. I will go into the date with an open mind but I will make sure to watch out for some warning signs such as speaking about ex's way too much.
  14. We are double dating with the friend and her husband that set us up. They spoke with the guy they are setting me up with and they decided to go out for dinner and drinks. I have never spoken to the guy before and this will be the first time meeting. I am definitely going to offer to pay and fully expect to pay for my meal, I just wanted to make sure I didn't offend him or do it in a distasteful manner. It is much easier when it comes to the check if you are on a date alone. No one there to listen in on the convo or judge.
