  1. NTL, why don't you just forget about him and find someone new? Has anything really changed with him in the past 2 years you have been in this back and forth with him?
  2. No, I would never date anyone with little kids.
  3. I might be hesitant to tell you anything if I was constantly badgered about everything I was doing. Snooping in her private phone is not cool either. Give the girl some space.
  4. I've had it. It really works! It was no big deal. Getting my eyebrows waxed is much more painful. Took all of 2 minutes. Took about 3-4 days to see the results. Wore off in about 3 months. No your face isn't frozen or paralyzed forever. There is a lot of ignorance floating around about these things. Planning to do it again next week.
  5. SarahRose

    Why?

What I want to know is why after you have told them they are neglecting you and you have said specifically what it would take to not feel neglected and they don't do it and you get fed up and leave is WHY do they act so surprised and shocked about it?
  6. No I don't think a guy should go all out in the beginning because it comes off as fake and insincere. Then later on when you stop doing those things we get bent out of shape and think you don't care about us anymore. After you are in a relationship, is the time to step up and make a big effort. That is when it will be most appreciated and a woman will be most surprised and pleased when the standard mo for a guy is to go all out in the beginning to win her and then after he has her to slack off and and be lazy and neglectful. A guy who does the little things consistently is gold! Knowing how I like my morning cuppa and bringing it to me, a kind phrase on a post it stuck in my work notebook, not leaving a big dirty mess where ever for me to clean up, a single rose for no reason at all, grabbing me for a little dance and so on. Those are the little things that mean lot and cost nothing but your time.
  7. I don't buy that. I believe it is cultural conditioning as how do you explain how different cultures have different standards of what is considered attractive? The thin is hot is only a recent phenomena. In the olden days overweight to obese was considered attractive. Most famous paintings aren't of skeleton looking women!
  8. I would say go ahead and say it. I have more regrets from being quiet and being a doormat than I have had from speaking my mind.
  9. Agree with all of this. Sounds like a manipulative tool to me.
  10. He is telling you that you contacting him is making it worse so please do as he asks and simply stop contacting him and asking him about the relationship. Don't reply to him at all. That is what you do. Keep bugging him and he will be gone for good.
  11. It is good that you spoke up and good you gave an update. I always wonder how things turn out for people on here.
  12. Not sure how old op is but you sound very young. Honestly you shouldn't have been laying around freeloading off your parents either. Your parents should be slapped for instilling no work ethic in you. If you are of working age, 16 or above or whatever the labour laws are where you are, you should at least have a part time job. That is part of growing up. Right now, even though you are married, you are still behaving like a child. I really don't understand your sense of entitlement here either? You are an adult. Why is it someone else's responsibility to take care of you? Why was it your parent's responsibility to continue to take care of your even though you are over 18? You have no education or job skills that means you take what you can get until you improves skills or education. It may not seem important to you, but it really does build character to provide for yourself even if it is a basic low paying job. It's time to grow up now.
  13. Anyone else have any insight on why people do this? LDR is hard enough without someone acting distant. I find it builds resentment that I have when I see them again. Talking to them does nothing. Things are great when we are together in person.
