  1. I'd send a text message first saying something along the lines of "I had a really awesome time today/tonight" Go with the situation, if you feel they counter your feelings then I'd say it's safe to ask them out again. There really isn't a time limit. Some people like to wait it out, other's don't. I went on a first date Sunday, he asked me on a second date the next day. We're seeing a movie tonight.
  2. I caught my dad countless times when I lived at home. The most memorable, and embarrassing, was when I was responsible for brining a floppy disk to school for a group presentation (I didn't think to check them prior) they all had very graphic images saved onto them. I understand how awkward you must have felt, but a very important point that has been made is just to remember he's a man, after all.
  3. Give a listen to: Paolo Nutini- Last Request Michael Bolton- When a man loves a woman Marvin Gaye- Sexual Healing REO Speedwagon- Can't fight this feeling Van Morrison- Someone like you
  4. I'll go with B. I like a man who is conscious of his appearance and attempts to take care of himself, but not a body builder physique, like the Governator. An example would be the beautiful Jake Gyllenhaal
  5. A teddy bear would be a cute gift. Go to Build-A-Bear and you can customize it to his style, interests, or any inside jokes you might have. Maybe you had a really great day at the beach once, you could make a beach themed bear, have fun with it.

    Stood Up?

“stand up for being stood up” ha afonselaca, I like that. Well he did call, very late into the day asking if we were still on. I didn’t mention the fact he kept me hanging. I really like the guy so I’m trying to give him a chance. I absolutely don’t want that becoming a habit. I'm saying something if it happens again, we're going out this wednesday.

    Stood Up?

Haha feels like that's becoming my life's quote, and I most definitely will try! I appreciate all your input, thanks.

    Stood Up?

I guess that’s what I’ll be doing then, waiting. I was really looking forward to seeing him; my first date in a long while. I’m a little rusty from being off the saddle, so to speak. Potentially being stood up right when I jump back in isn’t proving to be the best confidence booster either.

    Stood Up?

I don’t want to be the one contacting him, though. My pride is too great and my ego is hanging on by a thread at the moment I hope I'm just way ahead of myself here.

    Stood Up?

No time was set, or exact place. The idea was to go ice skating, a few places were mentioned, however nothing specific. I don’t want to seem desperate in calling him, if standing me up are his intentions.

    Stood Up?

I met a guy 2 weeks ago whom I have had daily contact with up until Friday. We set a date to hang out Friday, however he called Wednesday canceling. His excuse was he had forgotten about a promise he made to a friend (BS?) He rescheduled asking to hang out Sunday, which is tomorrow. I haven’t heard from him since Friday. Can anyone help me find some clarity to this? Am I being given the run-around? Or could it just be my own insecurities?
  12. I wouldn't classify myself as being anorexic or bulimic. However, I definitely have issues with food. I've entirely blacklisted what I consider to be junk food, fixated almost. Growing up in a family where obesity was prevalent I've vowed to never be that. The negative affects from having obesity in my genes are my obsession with health and exercise. I understand how this may not seem like a problem to some, but any compulsion, even something healthy like exercise, taken to its extreme feels just as damaging and frustrating.
  13. A quote from an anonymous person has drastically changed my point of view: "I have come to realize that we live in order to change someone else's life." With this, I have halted my search for meaning. I believe I am here for that very reason, to change someone else's life. Could my whole life's purpose be that I drove a drunken friend home and thus saved their life? Or maybe that smile I passed along to the clerk at the department store gave a spark of hope and as a result they didn't follow through with a possible suicide attempt? All very far-fetched, I know. But, I am illustrating a point that I find my meaning is in every single detail of this life, frivolous or not.
  14. Well, to quote Snoop Dogg "I keep a blue flag hanging out my backside But only on the left side, yeah that's the crip side…" Anyway, I'd say there's a possibility. To be even questioning it would be reason enough for me...
  15. Seeing as how I am responding at this hour, I apparently have not found a successful way of alleviating my insomnia either. Would you mind if I watched this topic as well?
