  1. My BF is 18 and dosen't have a license. I don't think any differently of him if he does or dosen't drive. A car isn't required to date, unless its a distance issue?
  2. Ok I don't understand this really. My BF hasn't called me in 5 days, not even to say Hi. I didn't want to be the one to call him this time b/c I always am but I was worried about him so I just tried to call him and completely humilated myself. It turns out he was at some important meeting at the time and really got upset with me that I called him. This isn't the first time he has been uninterested in talking to me. I told him to just call me back later or something but I don't think I want to talk to him now. I didn't know he was at a meeting so he didn't have to be so rude to me. In the past our relationship had been great. He used to tell me that he loved me and everything. Now there is like no communication at all and I'm really feeling bad from it. When he calls back should I even answer? what do I do?
  3. thanks everyone for the replies. Im not so sure its mono after all. My nose has literally been running water for the past 3 hours. My throat pain has subsided somewhat. I already taken a tylonel, drinking orange juice, and gaterade. Just Hopefully tomorrow I will better and not worse.
  4. I have been feeling really ill today and yesterday. It started out with chills. Today my nose is running, my glands are really sore, bad headache, and a intense feeling of fatigue. Im pretty sure that I got mono, but haven't seen a doctor, what would be the best cure for this? I don't feel like being around anybody today or even talking to anyone, although tomorrow I'm hoping to spend some time with my BF but don't want him to get sick. So far I just have been resting, and drinking fluids... anyways I can feel stronger?
  5. I've heard of Saltwater spray, supposedly the Saltwater rinses and saline sprays thin your mucus and get rid of irritants.
  6. I'm also 18 and in a relationship like yours. I have had past relationships that haven't worked out and was first worried that if I went into another one I would get hurt again. I really feel love for the guy I'm with now and him for me, so I learned its all about TRUST. When you enter a relationship you have to learn to trust your partner. Try not to look at your past but look toward the present and future. good luck!~
  7. aww.. I think you should just talk openly to him about your feelings. Its good that you both want to spend more time together. And completely normal to miss each other. Maybe if you both are shy you should tell him you would feel better if he did make a effort to call every night or so, so there won't be any akward NCs and you won't be as confused. Maybe for the time being you should hang on to an object of his, then while he is away you wont feel as alone. Just giving some advice.. Good luck though!
  8. Dave, It sounds as if you are not over your ex completely but want them back as a friend. Breakups are VERY hard. I have been through them. So after a breakup the partner may not want to communicate on even a friendship level and it's hard. By not answering the phone when you call or not calling you back it shows a sign of disinterest. But forget it because you did nothing wrong. ^ I'd listen to Annies advice and keep meeting new girls, good luck!
  9. notice not them looking at you but the WAY they look at you, if girls stare a lot and smile thats most likely a sign of interest.
  10. Im 18 in College and my BF is 17 in high school... when he first told me that he loved me, I kind of didnt know how to react. I was thinking, does he really know what love is. I felt like I loved him but it's a very strong word to use. I told him don't say that unless you mean it and he looked me into my eyes and said he meant it. We say it to each other all the time because we mean it. Even though he is still in HS we have discussed our future together, marriage, children and all that. It could be years away but love is a incredible feeling for two people no matter how young, once you are there its euphoria.
  11. Dating is a process, and dating does take much time but from reading what you wrote it dosen't seem to me that your aggressive at all, nothing wrong with wanting to spend more time together. In the new stage of dating, I expeirence this with my boyfriend all the time... the first dates will leave you wanting more and more, and the only gift you feel like having is their time with you. It can be especially akward when you really have a desire to just call and talk to them but don't know what to say. If talking on the phone everyday would make you feel good, then go for it. Just make sure, she is doing some of the calling too.
  12. accept it and enjoy it... When me and my bf were making out.. He told me I was beautiful. I felt weird at first. I didn't know what to say. I told him that nobodys ever said that to me before. I told him I suffer from low self esteem I kept telling him no because I didn't know what to say... but He kept saying that I was the most beautiful girl over and over. So I just let him say those things and learned to enjoy those moments, its best to believe
