  1. I say treat phone sex like actual sex, which means sometimes you have to try new things to keep it interesting. Think of a fun setting, whatever your style is... in front of a fireplace, on the kitchen counter, in the shower etc. That way you can get more specific about what you want to do. Think of new positions you'd like to try, and new ways you'd like to please your partner. Hope I helped.
  2. The Midol I took had 60 mg of caffeine in it, which helps with fatigue even if it a small amount.
  3. All I did was start taking Midol a couple days before my period actually started (I get cramps right when my period begins, not before). A couple days before I knew I was going to start, I felt just a little bloating and soreness, the usual warning signs, and I took a Midol. The next day, same thing, I took a Midol. This morning I actually started and again took a Midol. Usually, it only cuts back my cramps/bloating/fatigue to about half. But today I've felt perfectly fine! I can't remember the last time I haven't felt miserable during a period. I heard a gynecologist on Oprah a couple weeks ago tell an audience member who had terrible cramps about this method. It's as if your body gets used to the medicine and thereforeeee responds more easily to it. The only downside I see is that you have to buy twice as much Midol (or whatever medicine you take usually for cramps) over the course of a year lol. I will admit it helps to be able to predict your period to a specific day. Say... you start on Saturday so you begin taking medicine on Thursday. But I recommend this for people who have tough symptoms... it worked for me.
  4. If I had to go to work in 45 minutes, I wouldn't want to have sex either. Even if it was my boyfriend's birthday. I would save it for when we have more time to relax and enjoy. Women are wired differently... we're not like light switches! Some days it happens, other days it just won't work.
  5. Thanks I emailed 3 people and got replies the same night, it was crazy! I'm starting to look forward to this now.
  6. I'm going out of state for college, and now I'm searching for a roomate. I filled out a 10-question survey for this roomate-choosing program. So I'm kinda nervous about this roommate business. If I see some people I think I could get along with, should I go ahead and email them? What should I say? I'll feel kind of awkward being from a few states away. I guess I don't know how to approach this. At all. I mean, I'll be living with this person. AGH!!
  7. It depends on how good the webcam is. Some are blurry, dark, and refresh every 30 seconds. I payed 45 dollars for mine and it is pretty good quality. It's definitely worth paying a little more for higher quality. My boyfriend and I talked with webcams everyday for 7 months before meeting in person. When I first saw him at the airport, I recognized him immediately. It was still a big shock for me though. Even with webcams, it's hard to tell what people REALLY look like in person. Their voices sound a little different too if you're used to using microphones or phones. We adjusted really quickly to being together face to face, but I was shy and awkward at first. I would say it's both similar and different...
  8. My boyfriend's hair started thinning around 18. He's been taking oral medication and topical medication which have stopped his hair from thinning. They don't help grow back his hair though. He's 20 now and I think he's handsome no matter what!
  9. Um, completely normal. Sometimes I and two other girlfriends would sleep in the same bed. I think sleeping in the guest room is kind of silly. I've never been told to do that. Except at my boyfriend's house, maybe. That's a tad different.
  10. I've been in an LDR for two years now (500-mile distance). I've been accepted into the college he's going to, so I will move close to him in the summer. So... 5 more months. Then NO MORE LONG DISTANCE!!! The fact that I know the distance part is going to end soon keeps me going. It's really important to have that.
  11. Nope. On the site it says that taking this kind of pill has NO effect on fertility in the future. I don't know where you heard that b.c. pills affect fertility.
  12. I've been seeing commercials about b.c. pills that let you have fewer periods. Of course I got all excited and I went on [url=" I thought the site was very informative. They don't advertise specific brands of b.c. though. So I'm wondering if they're gearing us up for a revolution in birth control? What do you guys think about this? Also I have a question. On the site I read that it is perfectly normal and safe for women to take 3 straight months of hormones and THEN take the placebos in order to have fewer periods. (It shocked me when I read that periods aren't any heavier after doing this But I thought that this could only be done with a mono-phasic pill - one that doesn't have fluctuating amounts of hormones. However I think most pills out there are tri-phasic, right? I'm on Ortho Tri-Cyclen LO which is tri-phasic. Should I worry about trying this method of postponing my period? Is the monophasic/triphasic thing a bunch of hooey? The site sure didn't mention any difference. I'd like to hear your thoughts on all this.
  13. Thanks guys. And thanks Iggy, I live about an hour away from you so I bet I could find that store.
  14. Hey everyone. I have some skin questions. I've never used foundation in my life, and now I think I finally want to. I used to have acne and my skin would react badly to ANYTHING, but now my acne is gone and I just have blemishes. I want to look for a foundation but I don't know what kind I should get. My skin's not oily, in fact it can get dry in spots, especially on my forehead. I also want to open up my pores and just make my skin glow. Any advice on what kind of foundation to get, how to use it, how to match it to my skin tone etc?? I saw a brand on TV that had a whipped cream-like texture. Is that any good? Anything that won't clog up my pores. Thanks.
  15. I'm on Ortho Tri-Cyclen LO and I've had no side effects to speak of. I've been on it for about 2 years and I think it's great.
