  1. Well, look at the bright side. You can always blow your nose on all the toilet paper stuffed in her bra once you get into it. TP ain't cheap.
  2. I know! The answer is; You might want to ask her first.
  3. When I first read it I thought it asked "How do you finger a blind girl?"
  4. Cult... cult. A simple word. It's short and suscinct. It's easy to say and doesn't take-up much space. Great for the media to throw around and lends itself handy to print. Just saying the word makes you conjure thoughts of the Mysterious, along with an aire of Danger. Some people are attracted to that as I can guess. A simple word but with no clear cut definition far as I can see. To the point that Theologians of most denominations don't even like using it in describing any particular type of religion. So I imagine it just comes to be a definition of whaterver a person wants it to mean. And in my definition of a cult might be very different from other people in that the leaders of a cult would not only subscribe to stong-arm tactics to keep their members in line, (((but would also rather see them dead than lose them))). The last part being my most definative. That said; Jonestown, Guyana (sp) and their leader Jim Jones would be the primary example of a cult to me.
  5. "The Bible warns of people like (JW's)" ??? Interesting. That's a new one on me. But precisely, where does this scripture exist warning people of that? I think that part was mistakenly left out. I mean why confuse people with facts when they already have their minds made up.
  6. That's it! All you can do is be really good at what you do and let the chips fall where they may. You're not going to buck the system with these people. They already got their minds made up and any prodding on your part would be just confusing them with more FACTS. I think there is some concern with the Lice problem though. Maybe the County Health Dept. would think that too? Perhaps it wouldn't be that much of a problem to them...I don't know. But I think you have a right to a clean (disease free) work environment.
  7. Well, you sound a lot like me... don't take much crap from an employer attitude, do 'Ya? But that's not right to do to an employee either, and totally unprofessional to isolate someone on a working basis. It destroys team players and creates dissention in the group. Good luck on the COBRA thing. It's really expensive to pay for it all on your own. We're talking around $600 to $700 a month premiums.
  8. Absolutely great work Avman!! And it was great to hear someone DIDN'T die afterall. But then again, I got a few Bambinos myself and I kinda smelled a rat in the first place... which is why I never posted condolances on that thread.
  9. This whole thing reminds me of the person who cuts a big one in a crowded elevator then leaves snickering... the doors shut and the rest have to deal with the aftermath.
  10. Reasons men don’t want smart women? Though I think this is too general of a statement to have any proof, and I don’t necessarily agree, there are indicators it is somewhat true from studies I have read. But I’m sure there are plenty of highly intelligent people get into relationships everyday with their like. Just as there are very good looking people who gravitate together. Possibilities are assuming she does not just have an abrasive, aggressive personality and is a total turn-off. Stuck on herself thinking she is just too good and out to prove it by expounding on topics of little interest to anyone outside her field of academia. #1) Generally thinking, younger men would not want high intelligence women because she is just too smart to get into bed? So I can see that age and motive would play a big role. #2) Societal engrained factors and the propensity to retain superstitiously held beliefs is an extraordinarily strong force. Typically and often, highly educated women, especially in the hard engineering and science fields, ((which have been seen as male defined roles for decades)), are now viewed as being too aggressive and masculine by many men. Is it really any surprise? With women now outnumbering men in universities enrolled in MBA Graduate studies and other upper-level degree programs? The same seems to go for women on the upper corporate world. High-level women managers appear to be complaining of this same problem. So I think some of it it’s a disconnect between what is now going on in our society as opposed to what has gone on for most of the so called civilized world. Old habits and views sometimes die a really slow and difficult death. As I have always thought, this is part of the “Fallout” of what’s been going on for the past 30 years. But then I want to stress this is talking level of education… not intelligence. High levels of education does not make one smart. It just exposes a person to information not normally aquired through everyday experiences.
  11. How about..."And you're not." Or... "I thought you were." There's probably not a whole lot to say as a retort to something like this and it's really not worthwhile. About all I would have to do in a case like this is shoot a glance at them with my eyes. Sounds to me more as an vain attempt to keep you in that particular place within the 'pecking order' of the group. Because you have built a place within it from past behavior. And now they see you're trying to change.
  12. What you're probably feeling is your heartbeat because of all the dilated blood vessels down there. I'm assuming you are talking down there. Just also want to mention there are no stupid questions. Except maybe the ones you dont bother to ask.
  13. Well, as I said before... it could be for any number of reasons. But it does seem kind of silly to me to bug someone for their number after the fact. Maybe he just has some psychological quirk in thinking not to leave (under any cicumstances) without a number in hand. Maybe it becomes like some sort of trophy to pass along to his buddies. Maybe he got his butt thrown in jail and simply cant call you.
  14. Being a old pro at this sort of thing I can tell you it's more than likely a Physical reaction. The cold (and maybe even a clammy feeling) along with cramping? "Ya got to make sure everything is cleaned out down there before to do it right.
  15. Well, it could be for all kinds of reasons like he wasnt all that into you either. Or maybe he's too busy looking for his next adventure. But I think you may have explained it yourself. The feelings may very well have been mutual. Because casual sex is just that, and can mean 'casually forgotten' as well.
