  1. Hey, I know what your talking about man I feel ya. Its for the best that you forget about this girl, she is just a mind-disease and you are clearly infatuated. There's definitely more girls out there, you know that. I've been in your shoes before, you want to make a move but for some reason you can't...like she's intimidating or something. But yeah, forget about her. What you need to do is go out and meet/flirt with a bunch of girls. It'll help you out a lot and you probably won't end up in another 3 year infatuation thing. I disagreed when someone told me that I needed to go meet a bunch of girls instead of focus on just one. But focusing on one didn't get me anywhere. It happened that girl just liked my attention, and she knew I was never going to do anything so I was her tap for her ego boost. Just trust me on the fact your wasting even more of your life wishing your going to do something with this girl, its not gonna happen, move on man.
  2. I think he likes you, hes just veryyy shy, some guys are like this and if they can't find the balls within themselves, you have to show them the way or nothing will happen. So I agree with Scout in taking the next step.
  3. It'd help if you had more signs to list, but I'd say she's interested at least and could like you possibly.
  4. He sounds to me like a loser guy that doesn't know what he wants and is just in it for the fun. I don't think he's ready for a relationship anytime soon...and for the roommate thing, i think its best just to not add any fuel to the fire by flirting with him or anything -- its best to just leave it as friends.
  5. Well she already knows I like her, and actually I've taken your viewpoint for a few years, I think its bs now. If somehow you leak it through her friends, it helps a lot more. I'm not saying I'm going to do that with every girl I come accross but, to disprove your point it really doesn't matter if you tell her, it probably will turn out better for you -- especially if you and her aren't exactly friends yet -- because she might think of you as a potential boyfriend.
  6. What if he happens to like girls like that? And so what if she's not very attractive in your eyes, maybe he thinks she's attractive -- what's attractive to one person isn't to another. If you think about it, he doesn't seem your type, he wants what's bad for him -- the *****y type of girl -- and you want what's bad for you, a guy that teases you, remains a challenge and doesn't care about you. See though, they're mix works together, maybe its just me but i think you don't fit in here and you should just let this guy go.
  7. K, so i was texting with my friend today who's best friends with the girl i like, and she asked me if i really liked her, and i said yeah, then she told me that's good. I'm confused --- that's good, what is that supposed to mean? haha. My gut feeling tells me that the girl I like is into me for sure but, I just wanted a clarification and was wondering if this "that's good" thing means she does too or something haha.
  8. Well, your only shy if you feel like you have something to hide, right? Then you have to break down barriers. I think you should discover what it is about yourself that your not comfortable about and try to fix it. Like for me it was not being as outgoing as other guys, all I needed was to have a care-free attitude and be myself -- if any girls didn't like me, it wasn't a big deal. It does take a little bit of practice in changing yourself to be comfortable and not shy, and if you mess up at all the girl won't think your weird for it. In fact, a lot of girls think that shyness is cute. One thing that helped me the most was when I wouldn't talk to a girl who was giving me signs I'd just think to myself "this weak guy **** isn't getting you anywhere, if you take this path your going to end up not getting a number or anything". So, work on your weaknesses and you should break shyness in no time.
  9. well, maybe its just because everyone at my age is shallow-minded but being a guy with gay friends is kinda messed up.
  10. I'm pretty sure he's not going to be stolen by that guy. If he's straight there's nothing to worry about. If that guy really is gay, your bf will realize it soon enough and cut his ties with him.
  11. Oh yea, its possible. I am exactly like that.
  12. It's sort of tough to explain but, the excess stomach bulge and the opposite of the hour-glass shape, I find very unattractive. Personally, I have high standards when it comes to women. I can't date them if they have nothing that stands out to me but thats another story. I'm not attracted to anorexically skinny women though. I like a girl that's skinny with curves in the right places. Keep in mind though, every guy has a different opinion of what fat is. So don't bash on your appearance, there's a guy out there who likes it.
  13. Oh ok, I getcha. Yeah I guess its some sign because my best friend just converted to Christianity. He told me he'd been getting a lot of signs and he's taking a chance.
  14. Thanks for the insight doyathink. I think I might consider believing, just not right now because I have enough problems with school, girls, work, and life in general. I'd rather not have all that crap fall upon me at once. It's just too much right now.
  15. So religions never really been an easy thing for me. I went to church as a kid from ages 3 to 10, I liked it and the overwhelming undescribable feeling. I also went to church camp, but I thought that was sort of jesus-freakish at age 11. Anyway, I'm now 16 and can judge what is right for myself. I've been agnostic for a year now and have been believing science explains all. Well, I'm considering the Christian side of things a bit. The only thing is, I don't feel God at all. Like, for example my grandma is a strong person of faith and has felt God ever since she started going to church as a little girl. And all these Christians describe stuff like "God talks to me" and farfetched stuff like that. I never had any of that happen. I also had really bad luck when I believed, ages 11-14 were really tough I went through a lot of **** I'd rather not discuss it because I have a some essays I need to finish haha, so when I was 15 I dumped my beliefs, last year actually was a good year and I discovered a lot about myself, to be honest believing in myself rather than some being that might not even exist to guide me worked a lot better. So, for you enotaloners that follow Christ, maybe you could discuss how you discovered Christ and what worked for you. Thanks.
