  1. I will probably read it, although I'm not SUPER excited about it. I enjoyed the first one. As for the book I'm reading now, I just finished Flee, Fly, Flown by Janet Hepburn. It was pretty good and I recommend it.
  2. I just finished Still Life by Louise Penny. Didn't really like it, but had to read it for a book club.
  3. I just finished True North: The Shocking Truth Behind Yours, Mine and Ours by Tom North. I read it because I said I'd review it for a magazine I work for but it was a wonderful book even though there were a few disturbing parts. I highly recommend it.
  4. Before you mentioned it, I imagined her as a little older, but I can see her as 12, too, now.
  5. I just finished a Christian historical fiction novel, Candle in the Darkness by Lynn Austin. Btw, I'm not a very devoted Christian, this was just recommended in secular magazine, actually.
  6. I liked it.. there are just a couple of things I noticed. In one place, the doctor's name is spelled differently and I think after her mother says "let's go," there are too many instances of "she" and not enough of "Kimberly." Not the whole rest of the way, just until her mother says "...and molested you Kim." Anyway, is this the very beginning? It does make me want to read on and find out more about what happens to Kim.
  7. I just finished Queen of This Realm by Jean Plaidy, about Queen Elizabeth I. It was quite long, but good.
  8. It sounds interesting. Is the ending of the book going to be him getting better, dying, or what? I think there must be a climactic ending.
  9. I'm on a reading roll. Just finished The Sixth Wife by Jean Plaidy this morning (about King Henry the 8th and Katharine Parr). It was decent. I don't like Plaidy's books as much as Philippa Gregory's historical fiction books, though.
  10. I just finished reading Admission, the one based on the movie with Tina Fey. It was alright. I saw it in Wal-Mart for $16, but I thought "nope", and then I found it for $3 for my Kobo E-Reader. I'm kinda glad I didn't pay $16 for it.. it was only okay. It was good enough for me to finish in two days though lol.
  11. Congratulations! Maybe the dance song would be more "fun" for your first time at the group? You should post the song on here!
  12. The Kingmaker's Daughter by Philippa Gregory - I haven't got too far, but it's good, like her other books
  13. I started reading Innocent Traitor by Alison Weir. It's about Lady Jane Grey. I may actually be finishing it tonight, I usually can't put books down once I start lol, just took a quick break!
