  1. LOL I used to have a Mullet! now thats one hair style I was told to F---ing get rid of!!!
  2. Hi all, here's a thing I wanted to share and ask for your views.... Ok, I used to have shoulder-length hair. I'm dark blond and its kind of wavy. So I used to straighten it with hair straighteners!! (don't laugh). The reason I started growing it is because I'm kind of going bald, on my forehead and crown. People used to occasionaly comment on it being "cool" or "funky" VERY RARELY did someone say something like, "for goodness sake get a hair cut" or make any bad comment on it. A couple of months ago I thought it was time for a change. So I got a No.2 at the back and sides and a No.4 on top and use a moulding paste to make it a bit spikie (like the catalogue boys). I've had ALMOST EVERYONE I KNOW say to me how great I look and its much better short. Comments like "what a difference" and "BETTER" .............so the question is, did friends and colleagues really hate it long?? Is Baldy best?? I have to say I FEEL much better, so anyone in the same situation as me, my advice is to SHAVE IT OFF!!!
  3. It could be kinda weird if you guys went out. I mean if your brother goes to answer the phone and instead of talking to him, he wants to talk with his mate's sister.....
  4. Sounds like he likes you.
  5. In the simplest form of signs...........Men who are interested in you always seem to be around you. Now, I'm basing that on say a work / school / University situation, ie. us men always seem to be bumping into you and then talk / joke........................do you not think ladies?......or is that what I used to do?
  6. Women flirt. They do all the usual stuff, talking, preening, eye contact etc etc, yeah you've read the websites on this, bought the dvd's, talked to DR Love etc etc. The only way of knowing if they are interested in you is when you get the balls to ask her out and then either they jump at it or BANG the baloon bursts, game over and you get a pathetic excuse(s)................and thats how all women are!!!! (IMO btw!)
  7. No way in this world could you be friends with someone you are in love with who doesn't love you back. As said above, it is very painful and can actually destroy your mind and sensibility.
  8. In a word, yes. I probably would because I have been there and got bitten once. One time I told a girl "look thanks for your interest but I'm not interested" only to get her mad and then she turned it back on me saying "you wish I was interested!!!!"
  9. Well Betty, its the same age old thing isn't it? Flirting!! Not cheating, its a natural course of actions between two people who like each other....................IMO.
  10. She could just be busy, or avoiding you, who knows? but like the above says, give it time. I know it can be a painful game but let her call you back. If she doesn't call within the week I'd call her again and if she didn't answer I'd just leave it at that. If you do speak on the phone, be direct about what you have in mind for you guys to do. Don't spend too long talking, keep topics of conversation for when you meet. All the best to you.
  11. Thans for the advice all of you! I'll take it all on board, cheers!
  12. I have recently got talking (typing) to this girl I met on a website. We have exchanged pictures and emailed each other. We also have exchanged msn messenger. What I'm wanting o know is how to go about asking her on some sort of a date. I don't want to scare her off and obviously I'm not sure if I even want to have a "date" with her (as I have never met hwer in person). any ideas folks?? Bobster.
  13. Hi folks, Thought I'd update this thread.... I cannot believe after almost 9 months of no contact, this girl comes back to the disco and tried to talk to me! Her friend came over and told me that "she" was here, when I replied "and??" she said "so is that it?" I just nodded my head. Later my EX herself came up behind me and tapped my shoulder and said to me "Please can I talk to you for one minuite" I just looked at her and said "no, I don't think so" and continued to dance with my friends. Cannot believe her!! What does that say? Huh?
