    Good for you man!!!! Way to go. Most of the time ex's just put out feelers to see why you haven't been stuck up their rear begging them back. They go from one high {who doesn't love attention?} to getting nothing. So they often wonder what has happened. 9 times out of 10 she simply just wanted to touch base and see how you were. Nothing more, Nothing less. Stay strong. Your doing the right thing.

    Agreed. Similar instance for myself. The time apart allowed me to reflect upon myself and see our relationship from a different perspective.

    That is great man. Keep up the good work. It's always refreshing to know that they are human as well and have feelings. Sometimes we think our ex's do not feel the same hurt or joy we do. Stay strong and hope for the best while continuing to grow.

    Just a glimmer of hope. I was NC for 4 months before I even got a word from my ex before we got back together. Stay strong.

    Day 37 for me Still hurts but moving along quite nicely ....

    Day 33 The feelings of her come and still go. I have moments when I am out talking to girls and hanging out with other girls where I can totally forget about her. I still here from friends that her new boyfriend is a jerk and treats her bad. I keep telling myself that It is not my place nor is it my right to try and intervene with their relationship. If she wants to make us work then she can contact me. Until then, I will continue living my life and moving forward. I hate that I try to over analyze every little situation. That when I hear things about her that something is not right, or I can fix it. Just need to keep moving forward.

    Day 30. Having sort of a relapse. I still communicate with her sister as we are still close friends. She was telling me how much of a jerk the new guy is and how he is already getting old and they are not going to last. I want to call or text but afraid of the rejection or starting an issue. Nor do I want to break No contact.

    So its been 27 days since I have talked to my ex. Just so happens, I am watching some television right now. So the movie "Where the Boys are" comes on. Just so happens it takes place in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Just so happens we were there a few months back. Just so happens we were on a boat tour that went down the same waterway we were on a few months ago. Talk about a kick in the balls!!!!!
