Betty J. Eadie is the mother of eight children and the grandmother of eight. As the daughter of a Sioux-Indian mother, she was raised in rural Nebraska and on the Rosebud Indian Reservation in South Dakota. She has given hundreds of talks about her experience and made numerous television appearances in both the United States and abroad.
