Edward L. Schor, M.D.

Edward L. Schor, M.D., a pediatrician, has held many important positions in pediatrics, health outcomes, and child development and pediatric care. He has a special interest in the social determinants of child health and family functioning, and has done research and taught on child health status assessment and on the family and how it affects children's health. He is editor of the book, Caring for Your School-Age Child, and has chaired both the Committee on Early Childhood, Adoption and Dependent care and the national Task Force on the Family for the American Academy of Pediatrics.
