Heidi Toffler

Heidi Toffler is the co-author of such classic futurist works as Future Shock, the Third Wave, Powershift, War and Anti-War, and Creating a New Civilization. Teamed with her husband, Alvin Toffler, she has, in the words of Time Magazine "set the standard by which all subsequent would-be futurists have been measured."

Currently an Adjunct Professor at the Institute for National Strategic Studies at the National Defense University in Washington, she is known around the world as an intellectual in her own right who has discussed world issues with Mikhail Gorbachev, Newt Gingrich, Ronald Reagan, George Bush, and many other world leaders. She has been interviewed on television countless times, and served as co-host of a ten-part television series on advanced technology.
