Gay Courter

Gay Courter has worked continuously as a writer in film, television, fiction and non-fiction since graduation from Antioch College in 1966. She is author of five best-selling novels with over three million copies in print: The Midwife was listed as the 8th best-selling book of 1982. Other novels include River of Dreams, Code Ezra, Flowers in the Blood, The Midwife's Advice. Three books have been on the NY Times hardcover bestseller list, and four have appeared on their paperback list. A sixth novel, Healing Paradise, is forthcoming and a seventh is in the works.
