Elizabeth Arden, Inc., a global prestige beauty products company, has announced this week that the supermodel Claudia Schiffer will be the trademark face of the campaign for Alberta Ferretti, who will launch their first signature perfume this fall.

Claudia Schiffer and Alberta Ferretti have worked together for many years, and the supermodel is excited that they can collaborate one more time for the new project. The supermodel can often been seen in clothes designed by Ferretti. Last year, for the film festival in Venice, Schiffer chose clothing created by Alberta for the red carpet appearance. According to Schiffer, it is a great honor for her to be chosen as the face of the Alberta Ferretti's new perfume campaign. "Alberta and I have worked together for many years and it is wonderful to be able to collaborate on this exciting project together," she said adding that the designer's creations always are very feminine and elegant and this all is reflected in the new fragrance.

With her creative talent and a good understanding of women, Alberta Ferretti has developed a scent that was inspired by the sensuality of a woman. From the conception of the perfume through its creation process, the designer was imagining herself a woman who might have liked to wear it -- the one who is modern, feminine, elegant, has a sense of style, is sophisticated, and what is the most important - identity. This is the primary reason why her choice fell on a popular model Claudia Schiffer as the face for the advertising campaign. "Claudia is a beauty icon and a woman whose sensuality comes from her unique and inimitable personality. Possessing awareness and strength, she expresses the qualities that every woman desires. Claudia represents the woman for whom my fashion and fragrance is designed," said Alberta Ferretti.

Elizabeth Arden is one of the most popular beauty product companies with an extensive portfolio of prestige beauty brands sold more than in 90 countries all across the world. The company's brand portfolio includes Elizabeth Arden fragrance products, skincare and color products, as well as PREVAGE(R) anti-aging treatments. The company also includes the celebrity fragrance brands of Elizabeth Taylor, Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Hilary Duff, Danielle Steel, and Usher. Furthermore, it includes the designer fragrance brands, such as Juicy Couture, Alberta Ferretti, Alfred Sung, Badgley Mischka, Bob Mackie, Gant, Geoffrey Beene, Liz Claiborne, Halston, Lucky Brand, Nanette Lepore, Rocawear; and the lifestyle fragrance brands Curve, Giorgio Beverly Hills, and PS Fine Cologne.

Lat year, in January, Elizabeth Arden signed an exclusive long-term global licensing contract with AEFFE S.p.A. for the development, marketing and distribution of fragrance, cosmetics, and skincare products with Alberta Ferretti.

According to Ron Rolleston, Executive Vice President, Global Marketing at Elizabeth Arden, who worked in collaboration with Alberta Ferretti to create the new perfume, said that their company believes that it has created a scent that expresses the values of the brand, which derive from Alberta Ferretti's rich creative experience. And it was very important that Elizabeth Arden stayed adherent to those values when there was a time to choose a face for the sophisticated new fragrance. "In Claudia Schiffer we have found an ideal visual representation for the brand," Rolleston concluded.
