After the super success of Marc Jacobs' popular perfume "Daisy", the famous designer decided to create a new perfume personality with ultra flirty scent that is now coming out to add to the mix - "Lola."

According to Jacobs while his prevous Daisy is more innocent and sweet, Lola was created as more sensual scent. The name itself conjures up a flirtatious and warm individuality. "It was the first thing that came to my mind, and I was very insistent with Coty that this had to be the concept. It just felt natural in contrast to Daisy," Jacobs said.

Lola is fruity and floral at the same time, carrying the notes of pink pepper, d'Anjou pear and ruby red grapefruit. Its floral scent leaves lingering hints of peony, fuschia, roses, geraniums and vanilla. Where Daisy Marc Jacobs - which was first presented 2 years ago and helped the designer's fragrance house to acquire worldwide prominence - carried mostly the girlish charm, Lola is intended to be the confident and slightly vampy older sister of the first perfume, the designer explained.

The distinction was of a particular importance to Marc Jacobs, who says that fragrance as an integral part of a person's style. Jacobs has no doubt that fragrance is just as important as are accessories, bags, and footwear. Not only perfume help individuals set a mood, it is a luxury people can have despite of their weight, height or financial possibilities. Jacobs said that it makes him feel very happy to be able to keep offering more and more fragrance choices for the consumers. "As to myself, I like to rotate fragrances depending on my mood," he said.

Starting in August 2009, Bloomingdale's, New York, will carry the fragrance Lola exclusively for one month after what, this coming Fall the fragrance will officially be available at major department and specialty stores and go worldwide. Apparently the fabulous new campaign will star teenage model Karlie Kloss, and if this fragrance captures the imagination in the nearly the same way as Daisy did, it is for sure that Lola will be a next huge hit.
