Ultra-luxurious Silversea Cruises will be presenting a series of 7 music-themed voyages in the British Isles and the Mediterranean the upcoming summer and fall. These cruises may be especially appealing for the fans of jazz, Opera, the Beatles and Broadway shows. According to the cruise's director, Cliff Perry, these sailings are a great opportunity for individuals to enjoy the combination of both their passion for music and love for travel.

Silversea Cruises offer their guests a gift of forever being touched by the world. From sunlight filtering through a Tuscan grove to the smiling faces in a Zulu kraal and the unique taste of Andalusian sherry, the guests are invited to explore breathtaking picturesque places, challenged by the scope of diverse world cultures and immersed in artistic achievements both grand and sublime.

In the Mediterranean, The London Festival Opera will be presenting its most talented soprano, mezzo-soprano, tenor, baritone and pianists. These established musicians have performed for the members of the British royal family as well as in front of audiences at Hampton Court Palace and the Gran Teatro La Fenice in Venice. The Silversea guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a special performance entitled "A Night at the Opera", as well as have a nice dinner at a gourmet Italian The Restaurant, presented with serenading opera singers, or at La Terrazza, a specialty restaurant.

Silversea Cruises will be also presenting a seven-day cruise devoted to Cole Porter and another week-long cruise dedicated to famous Noel Coward. Both programs are created and narrated by lecturer and historian David Garrard Lowe, and the songs will be performed by singer and pianist Bobby Nesbitt. For the fans of jazz music, there is a good chance to enjoy the magnificent performance of the rising star Loston Harris, a pianist with the Lincoln Centre Jazz Orchestra led by Wynton Marsalis. Harris also appeared on the PBS special program "Portraits in Blue." Another Silversea cruise will be featuring a famous singer Michelle Phillips from the popular 1960s group The Mamas and the Papas. The group is best known for hits such as "California Dreaming" and "San Francisco."

In the British Isles Silversea Cruises plan to surprise their guests by "A Tribute to the Beatles," performance that will be hosted by Joe Johnson, creator of the "Beatles Brunch," a popular radio show all across Canada and the United States of America. The Bootleg Beatles, one of the world's most acclaimed Beatles tribute bands, will be performing a full-length Beatles show, and Tony Bramwell, author of "Magical Mystery Tours: My Life with the Beatles," will be joining the show in order to share his own stories from his days as the Beatles' personal assistant. There will be many other entertaining activities, such as name-that-tune contest, for example, as well as a trivia game, a "Hard Day's Night" dance party, and Beatle Brunch Feast, a gala breakfast/luncheon presenting the music of the Fab Four and the distribution of prizes.

Silversea is a well-recognized innovator of the luxury cruise segment, which offers its passengers the best comfort possible aboard its intimate, all-suite vessels. With the addition of the expedition ship Prince Albert II, the company's ships sail across all seven continents. Ships are intended to create an atmosphere of one's own home upon the oceans of the world, and welcome guests to relax in refined luxury. Whilst spacious in feel and appearance, each of the company's vessels is comparatively small when compared to mass-market ships, therefore making them more agile and easily docked in the most attractive destinations.
