Lower back problems - Yoga, pilates, etc
I have a lower back problem which I believe is mainly from riding trials & pertty common with a lot of friends I know that do the same. I did get X-Ray and have gone to chiropractor (didn't help) and the physical therapist. My back physically is fine, no alignment issues, pinched nerves or any others.
Anyone Do Yoga Or Pilates?
I am going to take my first Yoga and Pilates class this week...I was wondering how beneficial they are? And how often do you do them? Thanks!!
Yoga or spinning??
i can't choose right now. . . yoga or spin class?? both cost money... which is better? I am thinking yoga because it will improve my balance and muscle movements, which is great for riding, but spin class i will be in a group with people who encourage me to push harder.

I have some questions for all you yoga people out there:) I bought a beginner yoga DVD and have done a couple of sessions so far. I love it! Although my body is SORE. Is this normal for the first few times, and does it get better if you keep at it? My neck is especially sore, and I'm wondering if it's because I have a previous soft tissue injury from when I was rear ended on my motorcycle and it hasnt healed.
Recommendations for Yoga DVDs?
Hi all. In my quest for a hot bod and squeaky-clean spirit, I want to get a yoga DVD to do in the morning before work. Anyone do this? Any suggestions? I'm not looking to turn myself into a pretzel, just looking to limber up / tone up. (Beginner style!
