Managing Your Emotions: Instead of Your Emotions Managing You
by Joyce Meyer
Remember, feelings are part of the soul which is often said to be composed of the mind, will, and emotions. When we are born again, we are not told to stop thinking. We are just told to start thinking a new way.

Emotionless
Managing Your Emotions: Instead of Your Emotions Managing You
by Joyce Meyer
Someone who is emotionless is lacking emotion - unable to show emotion; one who feels no emotion, or very little emotion. Many times when people have been hurt badly in their past, they develop a hard core within and build up high walls without to protect

Emotionalism

How Not To Be Led By Your Feelings
Managing Your Emotions: Instead of Your Emotions Managing You
by Joyce Meyer
There are several definitions of the word emotions. According to Webster's dictionary, the root source of this term is the Latin ex-movere, meaning to move away. I find that definition very interesting because that is what carnal, uncrucified emotions try

God Loves You!
Life in the Word Devotional
by Joyce Meyer
God loves you! You are special to Him. God doesn't love you because you are a good person or do everything right. He loves you because He is love. Love is not something God does; it is something He is. It is His nature. Gods love is pure and ever flowing.

Trust Completely In God
Knowing God Intimately: Being as Close to Him As You Want to Be

Time with God Is a Vital Necessity
Knowing God Intimately: Being as Close to Him As You Want to Be
by Joyce Meyer
We may have to deal sternly with our flesh to resist the spirit of passivity that tries to keep us from growing in the knowledge of God. A commitment to spend time with God is as serious as any commitment that we could ever make.

Relationship Requires Commitment
Knowing God Intimately: Being as Close to Him As You Want to Be
by Joyce Meyer
But only Moses went to the top of the mountain and into the intimate presence of God. It is clear from Scripture that Moses had taken great personal sacrifices and risks to obey God. He had turned down opportunities for personal promotion in order to see

You Are As Close To God As You Want To Be
Knowing God Intimately: Being as Close to Him As You Want to Be
by Joyce Meyer
It's obvious that some people are closer to God than others. Some people have a reverent familiarity with God that seems foreign to other Christians. These close friends of God share stories of talking to Him as if they know Him personally.

Something Seems to Be Missing
Knowing God Intimately: Being as Close to Him As You Want to Be
by Joyce Meyer
I remember the emptiness I felt in 1976 when, as a young Christian, I realized that doing the right things brought temporary happiness but not deep, satisfying joy. In those early days of my friendship with God, I could only see Him from a distance

In Pursuit of Peace: 21 Ways to Conquer Anxiety, Fear, and Discontentment
by Joyce Meyer
I want to see people love God's Word and put it first place in their lives. I believe there is an anointing on the Word; it has inherent power that makes positive changes in us. The Word of God is truth, and John 8:32 says, And you will know the Truth

Be a Disciple of Jesus
In Pursuit of Peace: 21 Ways to Conquer Anxiety, Fear, and Discontentment
by Joyce Meyer
Jesus said, If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me (Mark 8:34 NIV). If we want to have peace, we have to stop following other voices; we must be God pleasers, not man pleasers, and we must choose to follow
