Can you get tested at your doctor? or do you need to go somewhere special?
Where to get STD tested
I'm having problems finding a listing of clinics close to me that do free STD testing. Does anyone have a website they could send me that lists clinics in RI or MA. Or should I just call my primary care Dr. will he do a just as thorough job?
First STD check up- anyone else get like this?
Hey all I went for my first STD check up yesterday, I admit I was nervous as Ive never had any kind of gynocologist examination.. I tend to be very tight and dry 'down there' and often dislike the use of fingers in that region at all. For some reason I got a little distressed when they used the plastic dialater for swabbing, I found it abit painful as I was tense shaky, and started sobbing! The women there was absolutley lovely but seemed concerned that I reacted that way and suggested it might be some psychological reason.
I'm a little nervous about getting tested for STDs
I emailed the guy I was seeing to inform him that I will be going in to get myself tested for my peace of mind and suggested that he do the same. He blew up at me, saying that I was accusing him. I could go get tested myself. He doesn't care and for me to never contact him again.
I'm freaking out....is this an STD?
Last night I slept with this chick that I met at a bar about a month ago. I used a condom, but now i'm reading that some STD's can be transmitted even if you use a condom. I should have known better (*,) Anyway, this afternoon it looked like I had some sort of a rash.
