Losing my Grandmother
I just got a call from my aunt who told me that my grandmother was unresponsive and near death. She has had cancer for some time. I sent her a card last week and was told that she read it and told my aunt to tell me she loved me. I feel fortunate to have been able to tell her that I love her this last time.

I am a college student and find myself thinking about her all of the time while sitting in my room by myself.
