If the angels look down upon earth and behold any natural object with especial delight, it must be Girlhood. And yet if they are not gifted with prophetic vision, they must tremble with fearful solicitude while they gaze delighted.

The Girl and Her Religion

She has certain inalienable rights, regardless of race, color or social state. When it has thought about her at all, society in general has supposed, until recently, that in a free country, a glorious land of opportunity, the girl has her rights

Woman; Man's Equal
by Thomas Webster
In this enlightened age, the sentiment of the Rabbi Eliezer, that the law should be burned rather than delivered to women, would be execrated by the right-minded of every Christian country. But was such a sentiment any farther from right, either in theory

A Classic Case of Confidence
The Confident Woman: Start Today Living Boldly and Without Fear

Just as under-confidence comes with its list of symptoms, the same is true of confidence. A confident person feels safe. She believes she is loved, valuable, cared for, and safe in God's will for her.

Are You Suffering from Confidence Deficiency?
The Confident Woman: Start Today Living Boldly and Without Fear
by Joyce Meyer
Under-confidence is a condition; it might even be considered a sickness. And just like many other sicknesses, under-confidence is caused by a deficiency of one thing (confidence) and too much of another-in this case-fear.

Confidence

What is confidence? I believe confidence is all about being positive concerning what you can do-and not worrying over what you can't do. A confident person is open to learning, because she knows that her confidence allows her to walk through life

A Woman with One Hope
Journey to the Well
by Vashti Murphy McKenzie
We all have a hope, we all have longed-for dreams, ideas, visions, and beliefs that keep faith alive in our hearts (Hebrews 11:1, KJV). The Samaritan woman's story is our story, and our story is the same as the stories of the rainbow women of many

Inspiration
Powerful Inspirations

I don't remember a time in my life when I didn'believe in God. My faith came in stages. As a young child, there were a few years when my family went to church. Ironically, the church we attended didn't have Bibles.

Eve Recovered
Your Inner Eve : Discovering God's Woman Within

Advice & Discussions
Gents - preparing for a Christmas bash
Question for the other lads of the forum: I've got an important Christmas party on Friday, and I was wondering what every other man in the world does to make sure he looks good on the night. Dress code is "casual, with ties." Thats no problem, I've got a haircut, have a shower, shave, and put on some nice clothes.
Where to go for Christmas
Me and my boyfriend are at odds about who's family do we go to for christmas. It's a six hour drive to mine and a six hour drive to his, in opposite directions! I moved in with my boyfriend in October of last year. I went to my parents house for thanksgiving and he went to his family.
Would a guy like this as a Christmas gift?
I'm thinking of getting my BF a nice pair of satin/silk pajama pants for Christmas (in addition to some other things). I'm just kinda torn between thinking he'd love them and thinking they'd just end up stuffed in a dresser drawer. He normally wears a t-shirt and gym-style shorts or flannel pajama pants to bed, though usually (about 95% of the time) it's the former.
Friend's Christmas Present =]
This year for christmas, two of my closest friends and I decided we would buy christmas gifts for each other. We are 16-17, going from year 11 to year 12 at school. One of them is male, one is female. I've bought her present, which is reallyyyy nice.
UGH :( Christmas Eve is Tomorrow
I loathe christmas eve. . .and have for many years now. Please don't get me wrong, I love setting out the cookies with the kids and then sneaking back to eat them, and placing some bells from the reindeer by the fireplace, and writing a thank you note from santa.
